The RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK. You’ll diagnose faults, repair on-site and help kept members moving, with emphasis on fast, confident solutions and strong customer service.

You'll work locally, start and finish from home, and follow a development pathway with hands-on learning and IMI accreditation opportunities, with the role offering a structured career path within the Patrol

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent with 2+ years' experience.
• OR 5+ years' experience as Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose faults and carry out roadside repairs to get members back on the road.
• Provide vehicle diagnostics and emergency breakdown support nationwide.
• Work independently with customer-focused service and clear safety practices.
