RAC is recruiting a Roadside Technician to perform diagnostics and roadside repairs across the UK. You’ll diagnose faults, restore mobility and deliver reassuring service when members need help most.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK
• Diagnose faults and provide quick, confident solutions to keep members moving
• Work independently to identify faults and restore journeys safely
• Utilise diagnostic technology to pinpoint issues and support continuous learning
