RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to perform mechanical roadside repairs and diagnostics across the UK. You’ll diagnose faults, handle emergency breakdowns and deliver quick, confident solutions to keep members moving.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) is required.
• 2+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic or 5+ years' experience if NVQ not held.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics.
• Provide emergency breakdown support across the UK and diagnose faults quickly.
• Work independently to diagnose faults, solve problems and reassure members.
