Job summary

Join RAC as a Roadside Technician based in the UK. You will deliver expert roadside repair, diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support, starting and finishing each shift from home. A Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent) with 2+ years' experience is required, plus a clean UK driving licence.

RAC provides a van, fuel card, uniform, tools, and diagnostic kit. Expect a market base salary of £36,400 with a realistic OTE of £61,000 and opportunities for overtime and

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years' experience or 5+ years' experience as Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Diagnose faults and provide quick, confident solutions for members.
• Start and end your day at home, travelling to call-outs.
