Join the RAC as a Roadside Technician. You’ll deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK, starting and finishing at home with a RAC van and all necessary tools.

Expect 40-hour weeks with potential overtime and a market-competitive base salary of £36,400 with an OTE around £60,000. Candidate requirements include NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience, 5+ years in the trade, and a full UK driving

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years' experience
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Start and finish your day at home, tackling challenges head-on and providing quick, confident solutions.
• You’ll be equipped with a RAC van, fuel card, uniform, essential tools and diagnostic kit.
