Job summary

RAC is hiring a Roadside Technician in the UK. You will perform mechanical roadside repairs, diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support, starting and finishing shifts from home with a RAC van, fuel card, and diagnostic kit provided.

A Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification or equivalent plus 2+ years' experience is required, with a valid UK licence (≤6 points). Expect a market-competitive base salary of £36,400 and a realistic OTE of £60,000, with overtime opportunities and generous

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years' experience or 5+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Provide roadside repairs, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Start and finish each day at home, with RAC van, fuel card, and diagnostic kit provided.
