Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to diagnose and repair vehicles at the roadside. You will be based in the Warrington cluster with shifts averaging around 40 hours per week, starting and finishing from your driveway.

You will receive a van, fuel card, uniform, tools and a diagnostic kit to support rapid roadside assistance. The role focuses on getting members back on the road with expert mechanical repair and diagnostics, delivering outstanding service while working regionally across

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Perform expert mechanical roadside repair and vehicle diagnostics.
• Provide emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Start and finish shifts from home and service members locally.
