Job summary

The RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to join its Patrol division covering Warrington and surrounding areas. With a Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent) and at least 2 years of hands-on experience, you’ll diagnose faults and perform roadside repairs to get members back on the road.

You’ll start and finish from home, work around 40 hours per week with optional overtime, and receive a comprehensive package including a RAC van, fuel card, uniform, tools, and diagnostic

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Perform expert roadside repair, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support.
• Provide quick, confident solutions and reassurance to RAC members.
• Handle calls on site or roadside to get customers back on the road quickly.
