Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to join our Patrol division, covering the Warrington cluster and surrounding areas. You’ll diagnose faults, perform roadside repairs, and assist members to get back on the road quickly.

You’ll start and finish at home, with your RAC van, fuel card, tools and diagnostic kit provided. Requires Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent and a valid UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent with 2+ years’ experience
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

Responsibilities

• Perform expert mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics.
• Provide emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Deliver quick, confident solutions and reassurance to RAC members.
