Job summary

The RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to join our Patrol division. You’ll diagnose faults and perform roadside repairs, supporting members across the UK. Start and finish from home with a RAC van, fuel card, full uniform, essential tools and diagnostic kit provided.

With 40-hour weeks and demand-led shifts, you’ll enjoy a competitive base salary plus a realistic OTE; strong bonuses and overtime enhance earnings. London locations are part of the coverage.

Qualifications

• Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent) with at least 2 years' post-qualification experience.
• Customer-focused approach and full UK driving licence.
• Technical, electrical and diagnostic experience for roadside repairs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics.
• Provide emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Work from home with RAC van, tools and diagnostic kit provided.
