Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to deliver expert roadside repair, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK. You’ll start and finish your day at home, tackling local calls to get members back on the road quickly with your technical skill and confident service.

You’ll join the Patrol division with a RAC van, fuel card, full uniform, essential tools and a diagnostic kit provided from day one. Base pay is £42,921.87 with an OTE of £43,000–£53,000 and strong growth potential.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent.
• 2+ years’ experience or 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert roadside repair and diagnostics.
• Provide emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Tackle calls from home and work locally to help members back on the road.
