Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to perform expert mechanical roadside repairs, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK. You’ll work within our Patrol division to assist members quickly and safely, with opportunities to develop skills and achieve IMI accreditation.

We offer a strong base pay of £36,400 and a realistic OTE of £61,000, with overtime and bonuses for top performers. A full UK driving licence is required, and shifts average around 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance with 2+ years' experience, or 5+ years as a vehicle technician.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver mechanical roadside repair, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Diagnose faults and provide quick, confident solutions to members.
• Work independently to support members and ensure safe journeys.
