Job summary

RAC Motoring Services is seeking a Roadside Technician to join our Patrol division across the UK. You’ll diagnose faults, perform emergency roadside repairs, and support members to continue their journey.

We offer a base salary of £36,400 with a realistic OTE of around £61,000, plus a structured development path to achieve IMI accreditation and ongoing support for skill growth. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience.
• 5+ years experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair and vehicle diagnostics.
• Provide emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Diagnose faults remotely and on-site to get members back on the road quickly.
