RAC is hiring a Roadside Technician to deliver expert mechanical roadside repair, diagnostics, and breakdown support across the UK. You'll diagnose faults, perform repairs, and help members continue their journeys safely, with demand-led shifts averaging 40 hours per week and optional overtime.

Starting on your driveway, with a structured development programme and IMI accreditation opportunities, you’ll gain hands-on learning and support to grow your career in the Patrol division.

Qualifikationen

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Aufgaben

• As Roadside Technician, deliver mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics across the UK.
• Provide quick, confident solutions for breakdowns and emergencies.
• Diagnose faults and guide members back on the road safely.
