Job summary

Join the RAC as a Roadside Technician and help keep people moving across the UK. You’ll deliver expert roadside repair, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support with great customer service and autonomy.

Starting from your driveway, you'll follow demand-led shifts around 40 hours per week with optional overtime, a structured development pathway, IMI accreditation opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits package including a competitive base salary (£36,400) and realistic OTE (£61,000).

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance with 2+ years’ experience (or equivalent)
• 5+ years’ experience as Vehicle Technician/Mechanic
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults and perform mechanical roadside repairs and diagnostics
• Provide emergency breakdown support across the UK
• Work independently to diagnose faults and get members back on the road
