Job summary

Join the RAC as a Roadside Technician and help keep people moving across the UK. You’ll diagnose faults, perform roadside repairs and provide emergency breakdown support with a strong base salary of £36,400 and a realistic OTE of £61,000.

Opportunities show in multiple South West locations, with overtime options and a structured development programme including IMI accreditation. A driving licence with fewer than 6 points is required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair and diagnostics.
• Provide emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Diagnose faults and provide quick, confident solutions to members.
• Work independently to diagnose faults and help members continue their journeys.

Education
