Job summary

RAC is seeking a Roadside Technician to keep the UK moving. You will diagnose faults, perform roadside repairs, and support members nationwide, starting and finishing each day from your home driveway.

With a Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent) and 2+ years' experience, you will enjoy a market-competitive base salary and an attractive OTE, plus RAC van, fuel card and full uniform from day one.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance with 2+ years' experience.
• 5+ years' experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver roadside repair, diagnostics, and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Provide quick, confident fault finding and solutions for RAC members.
• Maintain high standards of member service while onsite at roadside calls.
