Job summary

RAC is hiring a Roadside Technician in Guildford to provide expert roadside repair and diagnostics across the UK. You’ll use your Level 2 maintenance qualification and 2+ years of post-qualification experience to diagnose faults, repair vehicles on the roadside and support members in urgent breakdowns.

You’ll start and end your day from home, with a RAC van, fuel card, full uniform and diagnostic kit supplied. Competitive base pay with strong OTE awaits high performers.

Qualifications

• Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent) with at least 2 years' post-qualification technical experience.
• Customer-focused approach.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver mechanical roadside repair, vehicle diagnostics and emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Diagnose faults and perform repairs at the roadside as required.
• Start and finish your day at home with RAC van and diagnostic kit provided.
