Job summary

RAC is hiring a Roadside Technician to perform diagnostic and repair work at the roadside across the UK. You’ll work from home-based starts and be part of a fast-paced team delivering essential breakdown services.

Ideal candidates have Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent with 2+ years of experience and a full UK driving licence. A competitive base salary plus realistic OTE awaits in a dynamic, member‑focused environment.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent, with 2+ years experience.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
• Proven ability to perform roadside diagnostics and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert roadside repair and diagnostics on UK roads.
• Provide emergency breakdown support with efficient, customer‑focused service.
• Utilise diagnostic tools to identify faults and perform repairs on-site.
