Job summary

RAC is hiring a Roadside Technician focused on rapid diagnostics and roadside repairs across the UK. You’ll be based in an Oxford cluster area with local calls, and you’ll start and finish your day at home, driving a RAC van equipped with fuel card and diagnostic tools.

You must hold a Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent) and have at least 2 years of post-qualification experience, plus a full UK driving licence and a customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent) with at least 2 years post-qualification experience.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver roadside repairs and diagnostics.
• Provide emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Be the RAC ambassador on the roadside and in the community.
• Start and finish your day at home, with a local drive-out to callouts.
