Job summary

Demob Job Ltd is seeking an Electronics Repair Engineer to join a well established business providing critical communication systems across the UK. The role is based in Scotland, with preferred proximity to Aberdeen, Dundee, Edinburgh or Glasgow.

Initially training at the workshop in Wales, with accommodation provided, then predominantly based in Scotland working on workshop repairs and occasional field duties.

Qualifications

• Strong electronics background with ONC, HNC or equivalent in Electronics Engineering or related field.
• Experience diagnosing faults on PCBs down to individual components.
• Confident soldering, desoldering, rework and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, fault find and repair RF transmitters and related equipment to component level.
• Test, align and calibrate repaired equipment before return to service.
• Use oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators and spectrum analysers for testing.
