Job summary

Demob Job Ltd. seeks an Electronics Repair Engineer to join their engineering team in Scotland. The successful candidate will live in or near Aberdeen, Dundee, Stirling, Edinburgh and other cities across the region.

Initial training takes place at a workshop in Wales with accommodation provided. After training, duties combine workshop-based electronics repair with occasional field engineering across Scotland.

Qualifications

• Strong electronics background with component-level fault finding and repair.
• Qualification in Electronics Engineering or telecoms (ONC/HNC or equivalent).
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, fault find and repair RF transmitters to component level.
• Test, align and calibrate repaired equipment.
• Use oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators and spectrum analysers.
• Install, commission and maintain communications systems.
• Occasional field engineering duties and out-of-hours support.
