Job summary

Demob Job Ltd is recruiting an Electronics Repair Engineer to join the engineering team in Scotland. The role involves repairing RF transmitters and communications equipment to component level, with training at a Wales workshop and eventual work split between the workshop and field sites across Scotland.

The successful candidate should have a strong electronics background, PCB fault-finding skills, and experience with scope/ multimeter equipment. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• ONC/HNC or equivalent in Electronics Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience diagnosing faults on PCBs down to individual components.
• Able to solder, desolder, rework and repair electronic circuits.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, fault find and repair RF transmitters and communications equipment to component level.
• Test, align and calibrate repaired equipment before return to service.
• Use oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analysers and signal generators for testing.
