Demob Job Ltd is seeking an Electronics Repair Engineer to join the engineering team in Scotland. The role involves diagnosing faults on RF transmitters down to component level, with training in Wales and a transition to predominantly Scotland-based, blending workshop repair with occasional field work.

Requirements include ONC/HNC or equivalent in electronics or related discipline, PCB fault-finding skills, soldering/desoldering, and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifikationen

• ONC/HNC or equivalent in Electronics or related discipline.
• Experience diagnosing faults on PCBs down to components.
• Willingness to travel and stay away from home when required.

Aufgaben

• Diagnose, fault find and repair RF transmitters and related equipment to component level.
• Test and calibrate repaired equipment prior to service.
• Use oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators and spectrum analysers for diagnostics.
• Install, commission and maintain communications systems and equipment.
• Participate in out-of-hours support rota when trained.
