Job summary

DEMOB JOB LIMITED seeks an Electronics Repair Engineer to join the engineering team, based in Scotland with training at the client's workshop in Wales. The role combines workshop-based electronics repair with occasional field duties across Scotland and the UK.

You will diagnose faults to component level, repair PCB boards, test and calibrate equipment, and use oscilloscopes, spectrum analysers and multimeters. A UK driving license and willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

• Ex military electronics background welcomed.
• Experience diagnosing faults down to component level.
• Willingness to travel and stay away from home occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, fault find and repair RF transmitters and communications equipment to component level; perform PCB repair, soldering, desoldering and rework.
