DEMOB JOB LIMITED seeks an Electronics Repair Engineer to join the engineering team, based in Scotland with training at the client's workshop in Wales. The role combines workshop-based electronics repair with occasional field duties across Scotland and the UK.

I am recruiting for my client, a well established business specialising in critical communication systems and infrastructure throughout the UK. They are now seeking an Electronics Repair Engineer to join their engineering team in Scotland. The successful candidate will live in or close to Aberdeen, Dundee, Stirling, Edinburgh, Dunfermline, Perth, Glenrothes, Montrose, Glasgow,Dumfries, Berwick, Carlisle.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ex military engineer with a strong electronics background who has genuine component level fault finding and repair experience. The role will involve working on specialist RF transmitters and associated communications equipment, diagnosing faults down to component level rather than simply replacing complete boards or units.
The successful candidate will initially undertake training at my client's workshop in Wales, with accommodation and expenses provided. Once fully trained, the role will be predominantly based in Scotland and will combine workshop based electronics repair with occasional field engineering duties.
NOTE: My client encourages applications from candidates from both commercial and ex military backgrounds. Suitable candidates may have served in the Royal Navy, British Army or Royal Air Force in electronics, communications, avionics, radar, weapons engineering, telecommunications or other electronic engineering disciplines.
