Retail Supervisor - Part Time

Pay & Benefits

• Hours: 24 hours per week.
• Pay: £13.11 per hour.

We are looking to recruit a new retail supervisor for our shop in Newton Heath, Greater Manchester. The role is a permanent part-time position with a variety of shifts, including some weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Support the manager as a member of the management team and lead the team to run an efficient shop delivering great service to customers.
• Take full responsibility for running the shop in the manager’s absence, ensuring customers are looked after, deliveries are processed quickly and shop routines are completed to maintain a safe, clean and tidy shop.
• Open and close the shop, handle cash, place orders and develop a team of retail assistants.
• Take responsibility for controlling operational costs including shrinkage, waste and payroll.

Qualifications

• Trustworthy and reliable; dependable for the small team and customers.
• Experience in retail, or as a supervisor, team leader or manager in similar industries is desirable, but we welcome those taking the first steps in a retail management career.
