Job summary

Virgin Media O2 is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in delivering exceptional customer experiences and commercial success. You’ll lead on the shop floor, coach the team, and help create a positive, high-performing culture across opening hours and peak periods.

You’ll participate in induction sessions, receive ongoing coaching, and contribute to a retail environment that values collaboration, inclusion and technology passion.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a fast-paced, customer-facing team.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills with a track record of developing others.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to influence and inspire.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager to deliver commercial success and customer experience.
• Lead by example on the shop floor and engage with customers to recommend products and services.
• Coach and develop team members to achieve goals and realise potential.
• Drive performance through feedback, clear objectives and continuous improvement.
• Create an inclusive, energetic culture where colleagues can thrive.
• Manage day-to-day store operations: rotas, stock processes and compliance.
• Take ownership of store standards and brand presentation.
• Step into Store Manager role when required and support wider store success.
