Job summary

Virgin Media O2 is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead a busy retail floor, coach a high-performing team and deliver outstanding customer experiences.

You’ll partner with the Store Manager to drive commercial success, manage operations, and embed a positive, inclusive culture while representing the Virgin Media O2 brand.

The role offers structured training, induction, and opportunities to progress within our growing UK retail network.

Qualifications

• Ambitious and people-focused leader in a busy retail environment.
• Experience in a fast-paced customer-facing role delivering results.
• Strong leadership, coaching and communication skills.
• Commercial awareness and understanding of how customer experiences drive business.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager to deliver commercial success, operational excellence and standout customer experience.
• Lead by example on the shop floor, inspiring colleagues to engage with customers and recommend products.
• Coach and develop team members to help them achieve goals and realise potential.
• Drive performance through feedback, clear objectives and continuous improvement.
• Manage day-to-day store operations, including rotas, stock processes and compliance.
• Take ownership of store standards and reflect the Virgin Media O2 brand.
• Step in as Store Manager when required and support store-wide success.
