Tesco is seeking a Shift Lead to help run busy stores in the UK. You will be responsible for leading the team, delivering great customer service, and maintaining smooth daily operations. Flexible hours and minimum weekly commitments are part of the role, with opportunities to grow within Tesco.

You should be over 18, have retail leadership experience, and be a strong role model for service excellence. A positive, inclusive team environment is encouraged to help colleagues perform at their best.

Qualifications

• Over 18 years old.
• Experience in team lead or management in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Strong role model with a passion for delivering great service and ensuring every customer’s needs are met.
• Build positive, long-lasting relationships to create an inclusive, supportive team environment.
• Clear communicator, using a variety of methods to keep the team well informed.
• Natural leader who motivates and inspires the team to deliver outstanding results.

• Leading the team to deliver a great experience for customers in-store.
• Working across all areas of the store and with all colleagues, the go-to person for day-to-day operational queries.
• Building positive, inclusive relationships that help colleagues perform at their best.
• Confidently leading the store in the Manager’s absence.
• Making balanced, flexible decisions and adapting well to change.
• Coaching colleagues, giving feedback and role modelling great service.
