Job summary

Iceland Foods Ltd. is seeking a committed Shift Manager to join our growing team. You will support the management team to deliver consistent results and help create the best place to shop and work.

You will start as a Retail Assistant and receive a £2 supplement for every hour you shift manage the store. Key responsibilities include driving sales, ensuring product availability, leading the team, and upholding cash handling and security policies.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a retail management or supervisory role.
• Effective communication with colleagues to deliver store tasks first time.
• Strong planning and organisational skills for shift management.
• Ability to provide constructive feedback to improve team performance.
• Hands-on leadership to deliver a great store when on shift.

Responsibilities

• Maximise profit: focus on great product availability and driving sales.
• Engage, develop & retain staff, support store engagement and an inclusive culture.
• Execute required processes and maintain excellent customer service and cash handling policies.
• Lead by example to deliver daily store objectives and customer satisfaction.
