Job summary

Iceland Foods is seeking a committed Shift Manager to support store leadership and deliver consistent results. You will be recruited as a Retail Assistant and receive a 2 supplement for every hour that you shift manage the store, with a focus on availability and customer service.

You will actively engage with the team, support your line manager’s actions, and promote an inclusive culture while driving sales and maintaining store standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a retail management or supervisory role.
• Communicates effectively with every colleague to deliver store tasks first time, every time.
• Plans and organises the shift, using every member of the team.
• Provides balanced feedback when needed to improve the performance of every colleague.
• Sets the pace of the team, when on shift, by being hands on to deliver a great store.

Responsibilities

• Maintain excellent store availability for customers.
• Support the store team to drive sales and service.
• Deliver on actions set by your line manager.
• Engage with the Talking Shop Rep and support team engagement.
• Uphold cash handling and security policies and One Best Way processes.
