Job summary

Iceland Foods is seeking a committed Shift Manager to support store leadership and deliver excellent customer service on the shop floor. You will be recruited as a Retail Assistant and receive a 2 supplement for every hour that you shift manage the store, helping drive availability and sales.

The role emphasizes proactive team engagement, adherence to cash handling and security processes, and delivering consistent, customer-focused service every day.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a retail management or supervisory role.
• Communicates effectively with every colleague to deliver store tasks first time, every time.
• Plans and organises the shift, using every member of the team.
• Provides balanced feedback when needed to improve performance of every colleague.
• Sets the pace of the team on shift to deliver a great store.

Responsibilities

• Owns shift leadership to ensure store operations run smoothly and efficiently.
• Focuses on great availability to customers and accurate stock on shelves.
• Executes daily actions from line manager and follows cash handling and security policies.
• Supports and develops store staff, promoting an inclusive culture.
