Job summary

Iceland Foods is seeking a committed Shift Manager to support the management team and ensure the store runs smoothly. You will be recruited as a Retail Assistant and receive a £2 supplement for every hour that you shift manage the store.

The role focuses on delivering great availability, driving sales, and creating an inclusive, high-performing team environment. A proactive, customer‑focussed mindset is essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a retail management or supervisory role.
• Communicates effectively with every colleague to deliver store tasks first time, every time.
• Plans and organises the shift, using every member of the team.
• Provides balanced feedback when needed to improve performance.
• Sets the pace of the team, when on shift, by being hands on to deliver a great store.
