Tesco is seeking a Shift Lead to help run our store floor. You’ll lead the team, coordinate shifts, and ensure excellent customer service across all store areas. This role offers flexible hours and a strong chance to grow within Tesco.

Qualifications

• Over 18 for this role
• Experience in a team lead or management position in fast-paced retail
• Be a strong role model with a passion for delivering great service
• Build positive and inclusive relationships to support the team
• Clear communicator using a variety of methods to keep the team informed
• Natural leader who motivates and inspires the team to deliver outstanding results

Responsibilities

• Leading the team to deliver a great experience for customers in-store
• Working across all areas of the store and with all colleagues, the go-to person for day-to-day operational queries
• Coaching colleagues, giving feedback and role modelling great service
• Staying curious and seeking opportunities to serve customers, communities, and planet better every day
• Confidently leading the store in the Manager’s absence
• Making balanced, flexible decisions and adapting well to change
• Building positive, inclusive relationships that help colleagues perform at their best
