Urban Outfitters in Liverpool is seeking a store assistant to help manage a vibrant, customer-focused shopping environment at 41 Paradise Street. You will engage customers, support the store team and contribute to a positive VIBE across all sections of the shop.

The role emphasises teamwork, product knowledge and strong communication, with responsibilities spanning tills, shipments, merchandising and daily tasks to keep the store welcoming and well organised.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a retail environment – not a must.
• Awareness of Urban Outfitters brand and its appeal to the local market.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a positive, friendly experience by engaging customers through conversation and service.
• Enhance the store vibe by focusing on customers during peak hours.
• Reflect the company's mystery shop standards in the store experience.
• Be a positive role model and uphold company standards.
• Work productively with the team and take initiative toward common goals.
• Assist in training and development of peers.
• Communicate positively and effectively with peers.
• Participate in daily and department meetings.
• Demonstrate proficiency in tills, shipments, and fitting room guidelines.
• Assist in processing new shipments and keep receiving/back stock organized.
• Contribute to timely completion of weekly tasks (markdowns, re-tickets, transfers, RTVs).
• Adhere to loss prevention guidelines and inventory controls.
• Follow health & safety regulations."
• Uphold store merchandising and cleanliness standards.
• Ensure merchandise is ticketed and floors are well stocked.
• Support sales by assisting in merchandising/display projects.
• Stay aware of current product and trend awareness.
