Qualifications

• Previous experience in a retail environment (not a must).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Weekend availability is required to cover busy periods.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a positive, friendly experience by engaging the customer through conversation and service
• Enhance the store VIBE by focusing on customers and not on tasks during peak hours
• Provide a store experience that reflects URBN's mystery shop standards
• Contribute to the overall VIBE in the store by being positive, respectful and helpful to others
• Uphold Company standards and act as a positive role model to peers
• Work productively within the team and take initiative to collaborate toward goals
• Assist in training and development of peers
• Communicate positively and effectively with peers
• Participate in daily and department meetings
• Demonstrate proficiency in till, shipment tasks, and fitting room guidelines
• Assist in processing new shipments and keep receiving/back stock clean and organized
• Assist in timely completion of weekly tasks (markdowns, re-tickets, transfers, RTVs)
• Adhere to loss prevention guidelines and inventory control measures
• Follow health & safety regulations
• Uphold store merchandising and cleanliness standards
• Ensure merchandise is ticketed and floors are well stocked
• Support sales through merchandising and display projects
• Maintain familiarity with current product and trends
