Overview

Required for 39.00 hours per week. Here at McColls we pride ourselves on being the second largest multiple convenience operator in the UK. As a Store Colleague/Sales Assistant it will be your responsibility to ensure our customers receive the first class customer service that they have come to expect every time they visit one of our stores. It is also about talking to customers promoting various products through active selling. (*Please do not worry we will train you to do this*).

We are looking for people who enjoy building relationships with customers and colleagues alike, and who take pride in working as part of the local community.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and assist customers throughout their visit.
• Promote products through active selling and product knowledge training.
• Operate tills and cash handling accurately.
• Stock control, merchandising, and maintaining a clean and well-presented store.
• Assist the store management team as needed to support store operations.
• Contribute to a positive, friendly work environment for colleagues and customers.
