Job summary

River Island Clothing Co., Ltd. is seeking an energetic People & Service Team Leader in Birmingham Bullring to support store operations and lead a motivated team in delivering exceptional customer service.

As a People & Service Team Leader you will develop the team, maintain visual and operational standards, and drive conversion and KPIs while reporting to the People & Service Manager. You will thrive in a fast-paced retail environment and be a model for customer excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, preferably in a supervisor role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passionate about fashion and trends.
• Ability to motivate and lead a team to deliver great service.
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays and busy periods.

Responsibilities

• Consistently deliver great service and role model this throughout the store team.
• Create a diverse and inclusive environment where all store team feel valued.
• Create a wellbeing culture in store with open communication for the team.
• Duty manage in all areas of store operation including product and operations.
• Support the People & Service Manager to delight customers with the best journey across service, people, visual and operations.
• Empower the team to deliver for the customer by prioritising the customer experience.
• Understand and use commercial tools to drive actions and store KPIs.
• Assist in managing health & safety standards and floor operations.
