Job summary

River Island Clothing Co., Ltd. in Glasgow Parkhead seeks a People & Service Team Leader to drive outstanding customer service and lead a motivated store team. You will support the People & Service Manager to develop staff, maintain visual and operational standards, and contribute to sales and KPI improvements.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong communication, and a passion for fashion in a fast-paced retail environment. Weekend and peak period work are expected.

Qualifications

• Previous retail experience, preferably in a supervisor role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Motivate and inspire a team to achieve targets.
• Proactive, adaptable and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work weekends and peak periods.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service and role model it to the store team.
• Create an inclusive environment where every team member feels valued.
• Foster wellbeing and open communication within the team.
• Duty manage across product, operations, and store standards.
• Support the Store Manager to drive KPI-focused improvements.
• Lead by example to improve the customer journey and store performance.
