River Island Clothing Co., Ltd. is seeking an energetic People & Service Team Leader in Harlow to support store operations and lead the team to exceptional customer service. You’ll focus on delivering a great customer journey while driving KPIs and maintaining visual standards.

You will support the People & Service Manager, be hands-on with product movement, and help develop a high-performing, engaged team. This role is part-time, requiring flexibility across two days.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail, preferably in a supervisor role.
• Passion for fashion and awareness of current trends.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve results.
• Proactive, adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent service and lead by example across the store team.
• Create an inclusive environment where all team feel valued.
• Foster wellbeing and act as a direct line of communication for staff.
• Duty manage across store operations including product and visual standards.
• Support the People & Service Manager to improve customer journey and KPIs.
• Empower the team to enhance customer experience in store decisions.
• Utilise commercial tools to drive actions and store performance.
• Drive store KPIs such as sales, stock loss and payroll.
• Support store operations with health and safety compliance.
