Job summary

Halfords in Leighton Buzzard is seeking a part-time Sales and Team Leader to help run a department and coach colleagues to deliver outstanding customer service. You’ll support the store management, take some key holder duties, and drive sales while maintaining security and stock procedures.

This role offers development opportunities within our retail team. You’ll need frontline leadership, a passion for customer service, and a track record of hitting targets; training in motoring or cycling

Qualifications

• Experience of supervising or leading a small team.
• Experience of delivering great customer service in retail or service environments.
• Experience in on-the-job training / coaching others.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines.
• Track record of achieving sales targets.
• Technical knowledge in motoring or cycling is nice but training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day running of a department and support the store management.
• Supervise and coach colleagues to deliver market-leading standards.
• Handle some key holder responsibilities and follow security procedures.
• Contribute to training and development to progress careers within Halfords.
