Job summary

Halfords in Watford is seeking a part-time team leader to manage a department, coach colleagues and deliver outstanding customer service. You’ll work with the store team to meet sales targets and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

You will have some key holder responsibilities and be committed to security and stock loss procedures while benefiting from Halfords’ training and development options to grow into a management path within the group.

Qualifications

• Experience of supervising or leading a small team.
• Experience of delivering great customer service ideally in a retail sales or a services business environment.
• Experience of delivering on the job training / coaching to others.
• Experience of working to tight deadlines.
• A track record of achieving exceptional results against sales targets.
• Ideally some technical knowledge in motoring or cycling, with training provided.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day running of a department and lead the team.
• Coach colleagues to deliver market-leading standards to customers.
• Support the store management team to enable the best service delivery.
• Assist with key-holder duties and follow security and stock loss procedures.
• Contribute to training and development to progress careers in retail.
