Job summary

Halfords in Bodmin is looking for a part-time supervisor to help run a department and coach colleagues to deliver market-leading service. You’ll be part of the sales floor leadership team, supporting store management to ensure the best customer experience.

You’ll have some key holder responsibilities and will follow security and stock procedures while the company invests in training to help you progress toward a management career in Retail or elsewhere in the Group.

Qualifications

• Experience of supervising or leading a small team.
• Experience of delivering great customer service ideally in a retail sales or a services business environment.
• Experience of delivering on the job training / coaching to others.
• Experience of working to tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day running of a department and coach team members to meet customer service standards.
• Support store management to deliver excellent service and achieve targets.
• Take key holder responsibilities and follow in-store security procedures.
• Participate in training and development to progress towards management roles.
