Job summary

Halfords is looking for a store leadership candidate to supervise a department, lead a small team and coach colleagues to deliver market-leading customer service.

You will work closely with the store management team to enable excellent service delivery, manage day-to-day operations, and contribute to achieving sales targets while supporting training and development for career progression within the Halfords group.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising or leading a small team.
• Experience delivering great customer service ideally in retail or service environment.
• Experience delivering on-the-job training / coaching to others.
• Experience working to tight deadlines.
• Track record of achieving exceptional results against sales targets.
• Ideally some knowledge in motoring or cycling; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop a small team on the shop floor.
• Oversee the day-to-day running of a department and deliver service standards.
• Support the store management team to ensure best service delivery for customers.
• Follow in-store security and stock loss procedures.
