Overview

Retail Assistant - Part Time, Early Starts. Hours: 8 hours across 2 days per week. Pay: £10.10 - £12.31 per hour. Benefits: 6 weeks holiday, 15% staff discount, staff benefits package, and more. Location: Langley Mill, Derbyshire. This permanent part time position includes a variety of shifts, with a minimum of 8 hours over 2 days from 7 each week, including weekends. Shifts start early in the morning.

Pay & benefits

The amount you earn depends on age:

• Ages 16-20 = £10.10 per hour
• Ages 21+ = £12.31 per hour

Responsibilities

• Make all of our customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello.
• Help customers find the items that they are looking for.
• Give a fast and friendly service at the tills, always offering help to pack and leaving a good impression with a friendly thank you and goodbye.
• Handle stock with care whilst working deliveries, quickly placing products into our freezers and onto our shelves ready for our customers to buy.
• Work with the rest of your team to complete the daily and weekly routines that keep our shops safe, clean and tidy.

You will need

• A friendly, positive, hardworking approach to work.
• To enjoy being busy as there is always something to do, with duties ranging from deliveries to till work, cleaning and stock rotation.
• To be reliable as you will be an important part of a small team.
• A bit of flexibility with shifts; rosters are planned three weeks in advance and outside commitments are considered when planning shifts.
