Job summary

Dobbies Garden Centres Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a proactive Restaurant Team Leader to help deliver a warm, friendly dining experience across our restaurants. You will mentor Customer Advisors, support the management team, and ensure food safety and hygiene standards are consistently met.

You will coach staff, drive sales through customer interactions and the Dobbies Club, maintain high service levels, and ensure adherence to operational procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer facing role with supervisory responsibility.
• Passion for hospitality and delivering great customer experience.
• Ability to work well in a team and build relationships.
• Willingness to learn new skills and adapt.

Responsibilities

• Coach and support staff and deputise for management in their absence.
• Deliver excellent customer service across the restaurant.
• Work with the team to maintain efficiency and high service levels.
• Drive sales by promoting the Dobbies Club membership.
• Ensure compliance with Restaurant Operational procedures and standards.
• Assist customers with product knowledge, allergies and dietary needs.
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the restaurant.
• Possible keyholder responsibilities.
