Job summary

Dobbies Garden Centres Ltd is seeking a Restaurant Team Leader to deliver an exceptional customer experience across our restaurants, lead and mentor the team, and support the management group. You will drive service quality and sales while upholding food safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

You will supervise and coach staff, promote the Dobbies Club membership, and help ensure consistency in service, hygiene, and product knowledge.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles with hospitality focus.
• Supervisory experience or team-leading responsibilities.
• Basic knowledge of food safety is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support and coach other staff and deputise for management.
• Provide outstanding customer service across the restaurant.
• Work with the team to maintain high service standards and efficiency.
• Promote Dobbies Club membership to drive sales.
• Ensure adherence to restaurant procedures and guidelines.
• Assist with customer queries using product knowledge and dietary information.
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the restaurant.
• Take on occasional keyholder responsibilities.
