Job summary

Dobbies Garden Centres Ltd is seeking a Restaurant Team Leader to deliver a welcoming customer experience across our restaurants. You will coach staff, maintain high standards of food safety and service, and work with the management team to drive sales and ensure smooth operations.

The role requires supervisory experience and a passion for hospitality. You will lead by example, handle customer queries with confidence, and help maintain cleanliness and stock control in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role within hospitality.
• Supervisory experience and ability to coach staff.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Supporting and coaching other staff and deputising for management in their absence.
• Providing great customer service by assisting customers with transactions across the restaurant.
• Working with the team to ensure staff efficiency and high service levels.
• Driving sales by promoting the Dobbies Club membership.
• Ensuring compliance with restaurant procedures and maintaining standards.
• Helping customers with queries using product knowledge, allergies and dietary requirements.
• Maintaining cleanliness and upkeep of the restaurant.
• Some keyholder responsibilities may be required.
