Job summary

Away Resorts is seeking a Restaurant Team Leader to guide front-of-house operations in our bars and restaurants. You will welcome guests, take orders, and ensure service standards while maintaining a lively, welcoming atmosphere.

The role requires leadership, a friendly demeanour, and the ability to manage busy periods, including evenings and weekends. Training and career progression are highlighted in the offer.

Responsibilities

• Meeting and greetings guests with a friendly welcome
• Taking food orders and making sure everyone gets what they asked for
• Serving behind the bar
• Keeping your area clean, tidy and well-stocked
• Ensuring team are all looking after our guests
• Cashing up at the end of shifts
• Set up or close down of the facility
• Ensuring restocking at the end of a shift
• Complying with all the lovely legal requirements

What we need in a nutshell

We need someone who understands that food and drink are central to a happy holiday. Someone who can look after our guests' every whim when they eat, drink and relax in our bars and restaurants.

What you'll be doing

We're not your average holiday company. Our guests come to our UK resorts to experience a world away from the day-to-day and our job is to surprise and delight them at every turn. We need you to be the person who delivers delight every day when guests rock up to our bars and restaurants. You will have a cheery hello for whether you are serving up knickerbocker glories or pulling the pints.

One more thing...holidays happen at holiday times and eating and drinking goes on in into the night, so you'll need to work your magic on bank holidays, evenings and weekends too.
